Favorite Gems of San Miguel de Allende - Lunch Edition

San Miguel de Allende has become a top destination in Mexico. A quick flight from Houston (IAH) to Queretaro (QRO) Mexico.  Jump on a luxury bus, charge your devices, and relax to San Miguel.   

Here is a list of my favorite places for LUNCH in San Miquel de Allende Mexico.

NOTE:  I don’t think you can go wrong for lunch. After a big brunch, late lunch was preferred.

1. La Posidita (roof top) near Quince - La Posidita FB . Preferred food here over Quince. Quince seemed too hip and touristy. Great view of the church and sunsets.  

2. San Francisco Winery — Must See It is all about the experience. Part of the trinity of vineyards. Set up a winery tour and stay for lunch.  

3. Don Taco Tequila – VEGAN restaurant. Don Tace FB. Great place for quick lunch or snack while enjoying a craft tequila cocktail.   

4. La Pasada – A little bit of walk but worth it. Unique and fresh menu in nice courtyard.

5. Don Tomas –Fun experience with tasty lunch menu.

6. Ku Ban – Very elegant lunch with very cool design. Cuban fare. Try for dinner.

7. The New Orleans Bar is a sports bar with bar food and Allende Beer – Not crowded with great service and fun American feel.  

8. Quince Roof Top – Young hip crowd with reservations required with practically empty. Fantastic sunsets with west side seating. The high wire act is cool (you can see from La Posidita). DJ and “scene” in evenings for sunset. You gotta go because it is the “in” thing to do! Quince Roof Top.
